Troubleshooting • Re: Sudden unexplained measured Internet bandwidth reduction

Use the official command line client if you want the same result as the browser version.
But that doesn't seem to be the case. The official version on the Pi returns results that are significantly different from the browser version:

The Pi is in the same room as the router and about 2 meters away. The Mac is a bit over 3 meters from the router and in a different room separated by a brick wall.
